Peace This Christmas Card - Stampin' Up! Artisan Blog Hop

Christmas in July. Do you do it? For us it's as simple as a festive meal with friends at a time of year where we want to be cosy inside. You just omit the stress of the actual season. For others it means getting ahead on their Christmas crafts... Yes, really! Here's a simple Christmas card idea that you could easily replicate however many times you need. Then when November rolls around all you have to do is slip them in the post. Tick!

To stamp the wreath I used the Peace This Christmas Stamp Set and a stunning new colour combo. Emerald Envy with Mint Macaron? Yes please!

I used the new Layering Circle Framelits for the sentiment then traced around the inside of the circle one size smaller to use as a guide for stamping the wreath. Easy as!

Love & Affection Cards - Stampin' Up! Artisan Blog Hop

Originally inspired by the incredible Kylie Bertucci, I let the Affectionately Yours designer papers speak for themselves on these cards. Make them super simple like she did, or step it up a tad with some basic layering. Either way you can get 72 card fronts out of one pack of designer paper! And remember, no hoarding (we're all guilty of that when it comes to designer papers right?). If you love it, chop it! #loveitchopit :)

A very warm welcome to my blog if you've clicked through from our Stampin' Up! Artisan June Facebook showcase. Be sure to have a hop through all 20 Artisans and check us out on Pinterest!

See how I made these washi circles below!

To make the washi circles, I used the punch-twice method below. This was particularly good for the slimmer width washi as my sentiment strips were 1" wide (and 2 3/4" long FYI) and the middle gap needed to be just right so no white would show. Leave questions in the comments if you need :)

Supplies Used:
Stamps: Love and Affection
Papers: Affectionately Yours Specialty Designer Series Paper, Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight, Mint Macaron, Watermelon Wonder, Whisper White
Inks: Tuxedo Black Momento
Accessories: Tags and Labels Framelits Dies, Affectionately Yours Designer Washi Tape, 2" Circle Punch, Linen Thread, Dimensionals

I can't wait to see what Val has made - let's go!

Hello and welcome to June!! It's such an exciting month at Stampin' Up! with the brand new Annual Catalogue. Squeee! The team and I have lots of new products to show you... so have a hop :)

Here's a quick and easy way you can create mini albums with designer papers and Project Life 3x4" cards. This came together in one afternoon! I used the new Affectionately Yours papers for the covers and the rest is from the Moments Like These card collection and coordinating accessory pack. Oh yeah, plus a little gold metallic thread.
