Handy Hint

When you find a card layout that you like and you're making one already, cut a few extras for future use. You'll see from a couple of posts below that this layout looks familiar. I'd prepared the basic design earlier and finished it off later with a sentiment and picture appropriate for the person I was giving to. If you're pressed for time, try out this handy hint next time you sit down to do some crafting!

These squash books are so easy and versatile. Here's a wee example of a 3x3 one I've done. Come along to my class on October 2nd if you'd like to learn how to make your own...

Now onto the creative stuff...
I've been having a play with my new products (oh so fun!) and thought I'd share today's creation with you. I've seen this swing card done a lot recently and because it's my Dad's birthday tomorrow, it was the perfect excuse to try it out. Don't you love the new Friends Never Fade set featured? I was surprised how well it adapted for a male card.

Love the swing card technique? Share it with your friends by booking a workshop with me - it's a great time of year to get into stamping!
